Image
Welcome to Bath, a city steeped in history, first established by the Romans due to its famous hot springs. Today, we’re diving into a different kind of refreshment: Bath’s vibrant beer scene. Join us as we explore the local breweries, pubs, and some unforgettable pints. First stop? The iconic Bath Brew House . Bath Brew House: A Local Gem Nestled just on the outskirts of the city center, the Bath Brew House is a must-visit for any beer enthusiast. They brew their own beer on-site, and you can even catch a glimpse of the copper brewing tanks as you walk in. We’re here on Halloween night, and the beer garden is bustling with students, some even dressed as bananas—it's shaping up to be a lively evening! For our first pint, we opt for the Gladiator Pale Ale , a 3.8% brew made with Maris Otter malt and East Kent Goldings hops. It pours with a lovely golden hue, offering a subtle, sweet biscuity flavor followed by a gentle, refreshing hop finish. It’s the perfect start to our Bath weeken

Restaurant Review: Menu Gordon Jones - A Unique Culinary Experience in Bath

Welcome to my review of Menu Gordon Jones, a hidden gem in Bath that offers a truly memorable dining experience. Our journey began with a scenic drive from Cambridge, highlighting the flat, open landscapes of Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire, gradually giving way to the charming, rolling hills of Bath. A Glimpse of the Restaurant: Menu Gordon Jones is a small, intimate restaurant with a bistro-style aesthetic. The space features large windows overlooking the street, giving it a cozy yet quirky ambiance. The decor is simple but warm, with a homely vibe that immediately makes you feel welcome. Despite its unassuming size, the open kitchen is a central feature, allowing diners to watch Gordon Jones and his team work their culinary magic. You can even spot Gordon himself, easily recognizable by his beard, orchestrating the flow of dishes. The Menu: Gordon Jones, a Scottish chef married to a Finnish woman, offers a surprise tasting menu for both lunch and dinner. The lunch menu is price

"Hey there! I'm Jesse, and I'm Will, and together we are Top Jaw." This weekend was meant to be a getaway in Lisbon, but with quarantine restrictions constantly shifting, we made a last-minute decision to stay in the UK. Instead of taking our flight, we jumped in the car and headed west from London—with no plan at all. This entire adventure was shaped by you, our Instagram followers, whose recommendations turned our impromptu trip into something special. If you're feeling generous, hit that subscribe button! Day One: Fresh Air and Bonfire Skies Ah, smell that—a blend of fresh air, autumn breeze, and a hint of bonfire smoke. That sky though... what a beauty . We got a little closer to capture it as Will hammered away on Instagram, updating our route on the go. We rolled into town around 8 PM, just in time for our dinner reservation. A couple of pints down, we realized we had accidentally booked a twin room. Correction: a double room. Guess we're bunking up ton
